The recording studio is suitable for individual musicians, simple acoustic choirs, ensembles or even complete rock bands. There are several acoustic concepts: for example depending on what is preferred or what sound is needed, desired or imagined for the production, you can have vocal recordings in one soundproof booth or sound-influencing rooms for (contra) bass, percussions etc.
Choosing high quality standard microphones is necessary for the direct take of instruments. From there the signal is directed to the peripherals, usually by means of preamplifiers and as the case may be, with or without a compressor. As required, it is then levelled thanks to the mixing console and directly recorded on external storage media using high-quality A/D converters or using a looped tape machine that is controlled either by computer software or hardware controllers (in Studio 2).
The studio is perfectly equipped to mix and master recordings. Thanks to excellent contacts, it is also possible to outsource the mastering for all types of vinyl records (e.g. 7/10/12″) or single dubplates and to create it in a specially fitted high-quality recording studio.
